Giving Back

All Mi LegaSi purchases help us give back to our Latino and Hispanic communities.  When we set out on creating Mi LegaSi it was important for us to help support causes near and dear to our hearts that help our comunidad.  Here are a few good deeds we have done with your support.

2020

Donating all proceeds of Tu Lucha es Mi Lucha tees for the following organizations:

#LearningKitsforMigrantKids - An Instagram initiative spearheaded by Wendy Ramirez of Intimalena helping to reach a goal to create 500 learning kits for migrant kids.    Covid-19 is spreading disproportionately through farm worker communities, schools, and programs migrant families often rely on are shut down.  In many families both parents must work to make enough money just to buy groceries and pay rent, leaving children of these essential workers an invisible minority.

Tu Lucha es Mi Lucha

- NAACP Legal Defense Fund - is America’s premier legal organization fighting for racial justice.

NAACP Legal Defense Fund

-UNCF - offers scholarships to Black Americans and supports Latino scholarship programs as well.  It serves as the nation’s leading advocate for the importance of minority education and community engagement.

- Border Kindness - provides asylum-seekers, migrants, refugees, and the displaced with comprehensive services that include food, shelter, clothing, medical care and legal services.
