Let’s talk 💛

In the moment, I thought it was pretty good. I know, I know, you're thinking “¿está loca?” Hear me out. I’m married to a musician (one who’s actually shared the stage with Lady Gaga too), so we tend to watch performances with very different eyes and ears. From a sound, production, and fluidity standpoint, it was good, not excellent.
But you know what was excellent?
The details.
That couple getting married? REAL.
Those small businesses? REAL.
That taco stand? REAL.
And that moment at the end, "God Bless America" and naming the countries of América, with the backdrop that read:
“The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”

Translation:
“My name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, and if I’m here today at Super Bowl 60, it’s because I never, ever stopped believing in myself. You should also believe in yourself. You’re worth more than you think. Trust me.”
And that’s important.
Our kids notice more than we think. Sometimes they ask questions we’re not prepared for. And that’s okay. What matters is knowing how to approach those conversations with connection instead of fear.
That’s exactly what psychologist Nathaly Mora and I talk about in this week’s podcast episode... y bonus: it’s en español (porque nosotras también tenemos que practicar 😉).

Empieza contigo 💛
